Benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Minnesota Affiliate

Join us at the Highland National Golf Course in Saint Paul on July 17, 2008 to Take A Swing at Breast Cancer premiered by Abbott Northwestern Hospital's Piper Breast Center. Shotgun start will happen at 11:00am. Four person scramble for men, women and mixed teams. $100 per person which includes golfing, golf cart, lunch and dinner. Prizes will be awarded for:

• first place
• men
• women
• mixed team
• closest to the pin
• longest drive
• and longest putt

A silent auction will take place at dinner with all proceeds going to Susan G. Komen for the Cure® - Minnesota Affiliate.

Since 1993, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® - Minnesota Affiliate has raised approximately $25 million that been awarded to Minnesota (non-profit) institutions for breast cancer awareness, education, outreach, screening, preliminary treatment and research. Up to 75% of the net proceeds stay right here in Minnesota. In 2007, the Minnesota Affiliate distributed more than $2.3 million to help fund national research and statewide breast cancer screening, education and treatment programs targeting medically underserved Minnesota women. Total administrative and fund-raising expenses in 2007 were a low 10% of total revenues, which enables us to maximize your investment in the battle against breast cancer. A minimum of 25% of net funds raised are contributed to the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Grants Program for energizing science to find the cures.
