On June 12th 2009 David Mueller underwent surgery to remove part of his cancerous liver. At his six month check-up, the liver cancer had returned, in an advance stage, and is inoperable. Dave is currently undergoing chemotherapy, with harsh side effects, and is causing a loss of income due to his inability to work.
Dave is a Hastings High School graduate. On May 10th, 1980, he married Carol Sieben, and together they have three children: Tanya, Jeremy (Nicole) and Dustin. "Mr. Dave", as he is known by the local school kids, has worked for the past 20 years in the Building Maintenance department for the Hastings Independant School District.
